This workshop is an overview the forensic processing of a crime scene. Participants will learn the chain of command for evidence and the 7 steps of securing and protecting a crime scene. Participants will observe the process of a crime scene from the first responder to the crime scene investigators, from collecting fingerprints, DNA, and photos. Participants will analyze and understand the Levels and Qualifications of a CSI.

Educational Objectives:

Participants will be able to identify and recite at least 4 Forensic terms mentioned to secure a Crime Scene and their correlating ASL signs that would likely be used by an expert witness in a court trial.
