• Participants will be able to recognize and identify the three main violations or factors that lead to child detention which leads removing a child from the parental home to protect them until a resolution has been reached.

• Participants will be able to identify and recall what laws govern children when they are to be removed from the parental home and places in the least restrictive environment.

• Participants will be able to analyze and identify why reunification service plans are or are not put into place, what the service plan requirements of the parents are to reunify with their children, or at what age are children placed for adoption.
